A Very Good Day

It’s nice to start the day with a 3 game lead and a great night last night. The Sox looked like they did a few months ago – Schilling strong, Manny/Youk back from their injuries and a solid win. The highlight was when they showed the TB/Yankee score after the TB grand slam. It just shows how fast things can happen in one inning – this time for our benefit. I’m sure the Yanks were thrown, but knowing them, a new fire was lit under their butts. We can’t count them out…yet. Three to clinch would be great, but 5 wins would send a strong message to anyone doubting the Sox.
The blogs are running strong for the Presidency and we have a debate tomorrow. The biggest issue seems to be access to tickets for “the common folk”. I’d love to hear other issues or suggestions that you all as fans think are important. Thanks for everyone’s support!

I think you right on the money with your blog. Youk getting back in the game is huge for the Sox. He seems to be the glue that keeps that lineup together.

Big blow to Yankeeland last night…If the DevilRays played Boston and the Yanks each week i think they would win the AL EAST!!! they have both of their numbers….Good luck in the debate!!!

Yes indeed, yesterday was a ‘very good day’.However, the Yankees still scare me… the eternal pessimist. At least we won’t have to play them in the first round of the play-offs. In your capacity as Prexy of RSN, I just assume that you will be able to cast some kind of spell on our post season opponents that will endure you in the hearts of all Red Sox fans. Good Luck!!!!

What do you think the best matchup for the Red Sox will be in the first round of the playoffs? The Angels have the hitting, but in a short series you have to fear the Indians pitching.

OK people – time to be optimistic and KNOW that the Sox will come out successful! What a way to end the season…this is when it gets interesting and I love to watch baseball!! Go Sox!

OK Cindy you’ve obviously got my vote. Of course I would have to support a fellow MPHS grad. Still living behind enemy lines which brings me to your debate and “common folk” tix, especially living put of state. What can HONESTLY be done?! As for you f*@#%& yankee fans, STOP! You’re kidding yourselves, you don’t have the pitching…at all!!!! Cindy- Good luck tomorrow, I’ll be rooting for you.

We can never count the Yankees out they have been dominating the red sox lately so the sox are gonna need their offense to be firing on all cylinders if the play the yanks in the ALCS. P.S. I believe u know my aunt, Elizabeth.

    Hey Cindy,

Can’t say I’m a diehard Sox fan, and no, I won’t tell you who I root for, but I support your candidacy for President of Red Sox nation. Good Luck and Best Wishes!

I still like the lottery idea and then limiting a fan to no more than 4 tickets each to 2 games through the lottery.

    Go Cindy and Sox!
